ARS:Mauve or mauve blend Miniature.
Registration name: MORchari. Exhibition name: Sweet Chariot.
Origin:Bred by Ralph S. Moore (1984) United States.
Class:Miniature, Patio.
Bloom:Mauve or purple blend. Strong, damask fragrance. 40 petals. Very double, pompom bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season, occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:Height of 1' to 18" (30 to 45 cm). Width of up to 30". (up to 75 cm).
Growing:USDA zone 6b and warmer . Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
